At the Dentist
24/11/21
At home I have been doing work but at home, some days I could not do work like yesterday because I had to go to the dentist for my little brother named Waru Ashby, he is only 4. One thing I learnt about my brother with his teeth was that his teeth were in pain because of the tooth that was coming out. My family and I thought it was the one that came out. My favorite part at the dentist was that there was a park so we played while my brother was inside the dentist with my Mum.
BEING AT HOME

At home I have been doing work but at home. What I learnt about being home is that some parents don’t send their kids to school because of the Covid and I’m not at school because of the Covid. My favourite part of being home was that once I finished I could jump into our pool.

VOLCANOES/EARTHQUAKES

In Te Maunga we have been doing Volcanoes/Earthquakes. What we learnt about it was that the Volcanoes were good to the people in the past because of the ashes, heat and the volcanic rocks. One thing that I learnt was that only scientists know when volcanoes or earthquakes are gonna happen. My favourite part was when I did a poster about the Volcano.

MEASURE DLO
27/9/21
In Te Maunga we did a Measurement DLO. What we learnt about the Measurement DLO was that the area means times like if you have 2 cm and 8 cm it will be 2 x 8 =16 cm2. I liked when I did the areas and perimeter. My most favourite part was when I drew my own shapes.
PAL
20/10/21
On the last day of term 3 we did PAL day. What I learnt about dodgeball was that if you catch the ball then the person who threw the ball at you is out. We played dodgeball, big ball soccer, Tail Dragon and nest. One game I liked was the Tail Dragon. My favourite part was when we played big ball Soccer.

Fungi, Bacteria and Viruses.
In Te Maunga we learned about viruses. We were learning about fungi, bacteria and viruses. Bacteria turn milk into yoghurt.
Lockdown

At home I helped my Mum and Dad with work. What I learnt during lockdown was that Covid was bad. One thing I liked doing was going for a walk after the school meets. My favourite part was when we had a school meeting.

In Te Maunga we did Matariki. We learnt that there were seven Stars in the sky at night. One thing I learnt about Matariki was that they come in June. What I enjoyed most was when we did the myth. My favourite part was when we did a Poster about Matariki.

Sea Creature Activities

In Te Maunga we have been learning about Sea Creature Activities. What I learnt about the Sea Creature Activities was not to put oil in the sea. If you put oil in the sea the oil will just injure the animals in the sea, some of the animals die from the oil. My joyful part was that we had to try to take out the oil from the sea. I hope people know what they're doing with the sea.

Food For Thought

In Te Maunga we have been learning about Food For Thought. What I learnt about Food For Thought was that Milo Grains are actually healthy but I thought Milo Grain was not healthy but was. My favourite thing about Food For Thought was that we had to go into the supermarket. The best thing was that we got to touch the saturated fat then we gave it back after all of us had a touch.

Pepeha
16th/ 2021
In Te Maunga we have been learning about our Pepeha. What I have learnt about Pepeha is about my awa. What I have learnt about awa is that the Waitangi river is connected to the waterfall. My mistakes taught me to not get pastel on the table.
Tsunami
9th/2021
At home we went over to my Nans for the Tsunami. When we got to my Nan the Tsunami just stopped. What I learnt about the Tsunami was that a big wave just went woosh.
