Measurement

23rd/ 2020 In Te Maunga we have been learning about measurement. My favourite activity was called weights because we had to use 7 and 5 to get up to 38. What I learnt about weights was that 4x7= 28 + 5 + 5 would = 38.

CRICKET

9th/ 2020 In Te Maunga we have been learning about Cricket. What I learnt about cricket was about how to catch the ball, you had to see where the ball was going and then you catch the ball. We played non-stop cricket, the batting team had to hit the ball well the outer team had to catch the ball.

Water cycle

In Te Maunga I’ve learnt about the water cycle, we also learnt how to draw lightly and we learned different ways to colour in.

TreasureHunt

In Te Maunga we did a treasure hunt. We had to find the small gumboot that had a number on it. We could win a golden headphones, five dollars, chicken and chips, lollies, ball and a Eskimo pie. We were raising money for Sam Godsiff-Johnson, it was for a charity called I Am Hope and they raised money for people that are feeling sad. The school raised $400

Pepeha and greeting

Dinorama

SoundScape

In Te Maunga we have been doing a SoundScape. We have learnt about the piano. The thing that I learnt was that you had to press down a key so it makes a sound.
